HERE’S SOME BASIC INFO ON OUR GUIDED HUNTS!
Guided Hunts for Sika Deer
Nanticoke Outfitters has 5 different Sika properties that we presently manage for mature stags in Dorchester County. Our 5 properties have a total of 50 stands. We only hunt a max of 7 stands at a time, rotating our stands to keep them fresh! Our Sika hunts are in the marsh. We overlook feeders and active trails. Some of our stands are accessible by boat or argo only. Your guide will always walk you into your stand. This way, you don’t lose valuable hunting time looking for your stand in the dark! We hunt from a few different stands. These include the NxtGen Hunting Blind and the Millennium Buck Hut. We also use our custom built shooting houses and a few Hawk ladder stands. We only use the Hawk Ladder Stands on new properties when we haven’t “committed” to a spot yet.

Whitetail Deer Guided Hunts
2026-27 WHITETAIL season is SOLD OUT!
Currently, we manage 3 different Whitetail Deer properties for mature bucks. They cover 1200 acres in Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Worcester Counties. We have a total of 31 different stand sites. This allows us to hunt the right wind at the right time. We will only hunt 5 whitetail hunters at a time. This way, we can rotate our stands and keep them fresh. We will always hunt with the right winds. Our guides will walk you into your stand. Upon harvesting your deer, your guide will meet you. They will lead the tracking effort. After a celebration and pictures, our guide will field dress your deer. They will bring it back to the truck and load it up for you. We will help you call in your deer tag. Then, we will hang it in the cooler. If you want it processed, we will take it to the butcher. We work with Wright’s Butcher Shop locally to help take care of your harvest until you head back home.

We Kill ‘Em All
(YES! David is a huge Metallica fan! )We hunt the salt marshes on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for Sea Ducks, Puddle Ducks and Divers. Our hunting is in Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Worcester Counties on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. Many of our clients do multi-day hunts. We might chase sea ducks one day. Then the next day, we would pursue puddle ducks. We could even hunt geese or divers on another day. Come hunt with us to experience everything the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland has to offer the avid waterfowler. We harvest Mallards, Woodies, Gadwall, Widgeon, Teal, Black Ducks, Pintails, Redheads, Bluebills, Canvasbacks, and Buffleheads.
Let’s Go Sea Duck Hunting
When it comes to our sea duck hunts, we harvest all 3 scoters. We primarily shoot the surf scoter. However, we also target the common or black scoter. Some years we have a good population of white wings that winter here as well. When the long tail (old squaw) shows up, we get on them pretty good too. Many of these sea ducks make great trophies! We hunt out of boat blinds, layout blinds, shore blinds, and shore blinds. Please let us know if you want to pursue a particular duck. You may also want the opportunity to hunt a certain way. For example, try using one of our Layout Addictions 2-man layout blinds out in the Chesapeake Bay.

Guided Hunts for Spring Turkey
We currently own or lease over 900 acres for turkey hunting. We will visit different properties during your hunt if necessary. All of our turkey hunts are fully guided. They are done in either a “Run and Gun” style or by sitting in a ground blind. Either way, we accommodate all types and styles of turkey hunting.

Our Sika Deer & Turkey Lodge-Wingate, MD
We have our primary lodge located in Wingate, MD. We can have 8 guests at a time in our 3 bedroom lodge. (Click here to see more of the lodge.) All of our multi-day hunters stay in the lodge. During your stay, we always try to get locally caught seafood whenever possible! Nothing taste better than fresh seafood.
