Upon consulting with us that you would like to book a hunt for a certain species and time frame, we will review this policy with you. We will then hold the spot in “Good Faith” for 7 days for you to pay your deposit. This hunt contract will include the policies below:
A minimum nonrefundable deposit is required upon booking a trip. The remaining balance is paid following a payment plan as outlined in your confirmation letter/email. Final payment is due on the 1st of the month that your hunt is scheduled to take place. No hunt will be considered booked until the Outfitter receives the deposit. The deposit and or any payments are nonrefundable. Any money paid cannot be transferred from one person to another. If the client cancels a hunt, any payments made will not be refunded. Additionally, a $500 rescheduling fee will be charged if you request to change dates or type of hunt. This rescheduling can only be done one time. If the client chooses to apply the deposit to one of these hunts, the rescheduled trip date must be within one year of the original date.
Although the main goal is for each client to fill his or her tag or kill, it is not a guarantee. There are no refunds for unsuccessful hunts. The client acknowledges all risk involved in hunting. The Outfitter or Guide cannot control when, where, or if the game will be seen because wild game animals are unpredictable. Sometimes our targeted animals may be found in muddy, wet or undesirable areas. Clients must note that we have no control over the weather or any unexpected events that may have a negative impact on a hunt. There are no refunds for unused days, such as: late arrivals, tagging early, departing early, bad weather, unexpected events, Acts of God or any event that may slow or stop a hunt. If a guide becomes injured or ill or leaves due to an emergency the client will be paired with another Guide. The Outfitter will do his best to replace the absent Guide as soon as possible, but it may not be possible.
If a client has not filled their tag before the hunt is scheduled to end he or she has the option of paying at a daily rate for additional days. The fee must be paid in full before hunting the additional days. A client that bags the wrong species type for his or her tag (i.e. doe, buck, stag, hind, Delmarva Fox Squirrel or any other animal) or exceeds the bag limit, even by mistake, it will be reported to the authorities and the hunt will end. Clients must also understand that guides other than the outfitter may guide them. It is not possible for the Outfitter (David Fletcher) to personally guide all hunters.
Special note to consider: Like all hunting of true wild game on, we cannot guarantee an animal. But in order to increase your opportunity of taking home a trophy, please practice your marksmanship before arriving and give some effort to prepare physically.
Making your payments as scheduled or permitting yourself to be placed in a stand prior to or absent of your signature on this document, will be considered understood, agreed upon, and duly executed.
