Nanticoke Outfitters currently offers a limited number of fully guided whitetail deer hunts on carefully managed private properties across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. While our long-term focus is shifting toward other hunting opportunities, we continue to operate a select whitetail program built around mature buck management, disciplined pressure control, and professional guiding.
Private Land & Property Management
We manage five whitetail deer properties totaling approximately 2,200 acres across:
- Dorchester County
- Wicomico County
- Somerset County
- Worcester County
These properties are managed specifically for mature bucks, not high-volume hunting.
With 31 different stand sites, we are able to:
- Hunt the right wind at the right time
- Rotate stands to keep them fresh
- Minimize pressure throughout the season
To protect the quality of the hunt, we limit pressure by hunting no more than five whitetail hunters at any one time.
Fully Guided Hunt Experience
All whitetail hunts are fully guided from start to finish.
What to Expect:
- Your guide will walk you into your stand
- We only hunt stands with appropriate wind conditions
- Upon harvesting a deer, your guide will meet you at the stand
- Your guide will lead the tracking effort
- Photos and celebration at the recovery site
- Your deer will be field dressed, transported, and loaded for you
Harvest Handling & Processing
After recovery:
- We will assist you with calling in your deer tag
- Your deer will be hung in the cooler
- If requested, we will transport your deer to the processor
We work with Wright’s Butcher Shop, a trusted local processor, to ensure your harvest is handled properly until you return home.

Whitetail hunts with Nanticoke Outfitters are offered in limited numbers and may not be available in future seasons as our operation evolves. If you are interested in hunting with us, we recommend inquiring sooner rather than later so you can be added to our Whitetail waiting list.
